The city of Paducah is making a major investment in the future of youth and tournament sports with the development of the Paducah Sports Park, a state of the art complex designed to attract teams, families, and events from across the region.
A $65 Million Investment In Sports Tourism
The Paducah Sports Park is a $65 million project aimed at transforming the area into a regional hub for athletics and tourism.
While Paducah may not be a major metro area, that’s exactly what makes a project like this so impactful. The city has a population of roughly 26,000–27,000 residents, making it a smaller market compared to large urban centers.
Spanning over 100 acres, the complex is being built on the former Bluegrass Downs site and will feature a wide range of amenities, including:
- Multiple baseball and softball diamonds
- Six full-size soccer fields with synthetic turf
- Tournament-level infrastructure and spectator amenities
Once completed, the facility is expected to host dozens of tournaments annually and generate significant economic impact for the region.
What Equipment Was Purchased For Paducah Sports Park?
When it comes to outfitting high-level soccer complexes, equipment quality is just as important as field design, but having the right partner to guide those decisions is what truly brings a project together. That’s where Atlantic Soccer Company plays a critical role. Atlantic Soccer Company owner, Will Clark, played a key role in helping ensure the right equipment was selected and even helped with the installation of this project.
To fully outfit the complex, a total of 88 soccer goals were installed, including both PEVO Supreme Soccer Goals and Park Series Soccer Goals. This combination allows the facility to accommodate players of all ages and levels of competition.
PEVO goals are widely recognized for their American-made craftsmanship, durability, and clean, professional appearance. Built with heavy-duty aluminum frames, precision welds, custom corner castings, and long-lasting finishes, these goals are designed to withstand constant use over multiple seasons.
In addition to the soccer goals, the complex was equipped with 50 PEVO 3-Row Tip-n-Roll Bleachers, each capable of seating up to 30 spectators. These bleachers provide flexible, mobile seating solutions and will primarily support the baseball and softball fields, enhancing the overall spectator experience throughout the facility.
Large Scale Installation At Paducah Sports Park
As part of the Paducah Sports Park project, a total of 88 PEVO soccer goals and 50 PEVO tip-n-roll bleachers needed to be installed across the complex. To ensure everything was completed efficiently and to the highest standard, Atlantic Soccer Company teamed up directly with the owner of PEVO Sports and their top installation crew.
In total, the project required over 200 man hours of hands-on work to complete. From unloading and staging equipment to assembling and positioning each goal and bleacher, every step required precision, coordination, and attention to detail.
Days on site were physically demanding often covering close to 10 miles while lifting, squatting, and moving 50+ pound equipment throughout the day. But the effort was well worth it.
