While soccer goals meet ASTM standard F2950-14, FIFA, and NCAA/NFSHSA rules, anchoring is key for player safety. It's advised to hold yearly inspections for the goals. Here's what to look for and how to address the following common issues:
- Disconnected frames
- Rusted braces
- Loose or broken bolts that do not tighten
- Broken anchors or holes in Sandbags
- Holes in netting
Most of the time, a broken part doesn’t mean you need to replace the entire soccer goal. Replacing individual components such as bases, backstays, wheels, screws, or bolts can restore stability and extend the life of your goal for several more seasons. Giving you time to start budgeting for a new goal.
